As usual, Harry and Wanda's oyster roast was a huge success.  We had about 55 members there and 18 British cars in the
back yard. It was a little strange starting in the daylight, after the time change.  The weather was perfect, in the low 60's.
Since we didn't have a Monthly Meeting that morning, we covered some business.  Here are the highlights of what Dave
presented.

Monthly Meeting venue
We are looking into having the Monthly Meetings at Rutledge Cab Company.  They open at 10am so the meetings
would be from 10-11:30am.  The time change was agreeable to all so I will schedule the April meeting there.
New Name tags - We had to change where we get name tags.  A company was selected.  The name tagswill be slightly
different but will remain at $13 each.  If you would like one, please contact Torsten Kunze at
Torsten@BritishCarClubCharleston.com.
BCD
Again at Palmetto Islands County Park, Saturday October 24th
We will have two food trucks and free water
BCD Reception
It was a consensus that it would be best to have the reception in Mt Pleasant, since that is where most coming
to BCD will be staying.
Charleston Harbor Fish House – I have an email to them with no reply yet.
Many liked the idea of doing a harbor cruise again.  It was very well accepted last year.  I will contact them to
get availability and cost.
Alhambra Hall in Mt Pleasant was suggested.  I will contact them to get cost and availability.
I was considering The Parsonage at St. Johannes.  It is an excellent venue but there is no parking being south of
Broad.
Natalie will call the building at Waterfront Park in Mt. Pleasant to check on the cost and availability for the BCD
reception.
BCD Poster
We discussed possibly having several cars on the poster in front of the British Flag.  Scott Bluestein suggested a
person overseas who did a painting of their Packard.
