St. Patrick's Day parade
British Car Club of Charleston members are invited once again to participate in the Ancient Order of Hibernians St. Patrick's Day parade on Friday, March 17, in downtown Charleston. Club members have run this parade for many years and it usually is a fun time.
Assembly is on Radcliffe Street starting a 9 a.m. Participants should enter Radcliffe Street from Rutledge Avenue. Parade marshals will direct club members to their assembly point. Cars should be decorated. Throwing candy or other objects to the crowd is not allowed. The unit number will be emailed to club members in March.
The parade route is Radcliffe Street to King Street; King Street to Broad with the parade ending at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist at 120 Broad. In the past, some have continued to lunch at the Variety Store at the City Marina.
